Chapter 2: Influential, Self Reflective, Thematic
Step 1:
A social issue that directly affects me is the drought in California, which has been a major problem for the past few years. When I think of the drought I see low water levels, dead plants, and desolation. Water companies in California have started charging more for water, since we have a limited amount. People are asked to not water their lawns and take shorter showers.
Step 2:
The photos express a clear point of view to the effects of a drought. The photos have connections to the conceptual photography.

Chapter 3: Creative Technical
I like the detail in the clouds that this effect bring out in the images. HDR gives the images more depth.
Chapter 3: Influential Self Reflective Thematic
My passion project is about black and white images. I included some HDRs because i find them intriguing. All of the images show a theme of black and white (except the middle one) and contrast.

LG Photo Contest 2015
Boardwalk on the marshes at Alviso Marina County Park. In photoshop, I raised the contrast and decreased the brightness of the sky, as well as cropped the image.
